Day by day
Your 8 day plan
Day 1: Arrive in Istanbul
Airport pickup. Evening Bosphorus cruise with dinner and a show.
Day 2: Old Istanbul
Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar.
Day 3: Istanbul at leisure
Topkapi Palace in the morning, then free time around Taksim and Galata.
Day 4: Fly to Cappadocia
A short flight to Cappadocia. Goreme open air museum and the fairy chimneys.
Day 5: Balloons and valleys
Optional sunrise balloon ride, then an underground city and the pottery town of Avanos.
Day 6: On to Pamukkale
Travel to Pamukkale. Walk the white terraces and the ruins of Hierapolis.
Day 7: Ephesus and Kusadasi
See the ancient city of Ephesus, then unwind by the sea in Kusadasi.
Day 8: Fly home
Transfer to Izmir airport for your flight.
