Day by day
Your 6 day plan
Day 1: Chandigarh to Shimla
Pickup from Chandigarh and a winding drive up to Shimla. Evening stroll on Mall Road and the Ridge.
Day 2: Kufri and Fagu
Morning trip to Kufri and Fagu for valley views and apple orchards. Stop at Jakhu temple on the way back.
Day 3: Shimla to Manali
Follow the Beas river through the Kullu valley. Stop for river rafting or a shawl factory if you like.
Day 4: Solang and Atal Tunnel
Snow and adventure sports at Solang Valley, then through Atal Tunnel to Sissu, weather and permits allowing.
Day 5: Manali at your pace
Hadimba temple, Vashisht hot springs, the Tibetan monastery and a slow evening in Old Manali.
Day 6: Manali to Chandigarh
Drive back to Chandigarh for your journey home.
